Our new “Dead Egg White” color

Thursday, March 25th, 2010

Check out the Order Form for our newest color, Dead Egg White. Many of you have asked for this new one, which represents a dead white egg drifting down river. If an egg is ruptured inside the yolk after it is deposited in the redd by a female, the globlin fluid from the yolk escapes and mixes with the water between the outer egg skin and the interior yolk. When that happens, the egg turns white and will die. We have all seen steelhead, brown trout, rainbow trout, brook trout and cutthroat trout key in on this specific color. Also, many of the salmon species will do the same.
Another attribute we have in this new color is that it glows like a firefly with only a few seconds in the sunlight, or from a small LED flashlight. The Glow from this new egg color is much more intense than the other three Glow colors we market. It’s perfect for early morning/late evening fishing, along with deep holes in the river or a lake. We now have this explosive color available in all 7 sizes of our eggs. Order a few today and give this latest color, Dead Egg White, a spot in your arsenal for those hungry trout, steelhead, and salmon!
